I received a call from my agent this week. She told me that Mud Vein hit the New York Times bestseller’s list. I was driving and eating a hot wing when she told me. I almost crashed and died of hot wing/NYT surprise. So with wing sauce still smeared on my face, I thank you for putting me on the New York Times bestseller’s list. #21!!!! Mud vein may be the best book I’ve EVER read!! No lie! I was completely amazed by this story! I am not a crier.. I’ve only ever cried watching 1 movie and reading one other book! This book made me cry like a little baby! The best sellers list should come to no surprise! As soon as i finished the book I sent a mass text to a group of my friends who enjoy reading almost as much as I do and demanded that they read mud vein as soon as they were done the books on process or just to stop reading what they were to read this. I feel like a sad little fan girl but there is nothing I’ve ever read quite like this. As Colleen Hoover said this book should just be a category in itself. There isn’t a good way to describe it. Amazing I suppose would be the closest. When I was done texting everyone I went onto iTunes and got kill the Heros and landscape. I listen to those to songs daily they make me love Isaac a little more every time I hear them. So I guess I’m saying thank you for this amazing story! And the best sellers list is completely deserved!
i read this book…and it was nothing like i have read before. i couldn’t put it down. i don’t have words to describe this book. it blew me away. i read a lot of reviews before i decided to read…for all those who commented negatively i believe i can sum their views as “you are not ready for Tarryn Fisher”. you are an extraordinary writer….and since this was my first book of yours…I’m proud to say I’m your number one fan…keep writing!!!!!! this book deserves to be in the list!
