Can you raise me from the dead and leave my heart to rest
So I can love again?
My favorite line from Jonathan Thulin‘s song, Graveyard. This song hails from his CD, The White Room. If you haven’t downloaded any of his music you are missing out. It’s intense to say the least. I like that in art. Art needs to make you feel something powerful. It needs to move you. What moves me the most as an artist, is the human need to find something or someone to connect to. We search, we find, we break it. Over and over and over, until we break ourselves. The White Room is sort of a journey through that process. It looks at failures, need, lies and hope. Broken promises that we make to ourselves, ugh, those are the worst; “I will not fall for that again…” But, we do, we always do. He has captured the process so well in his edgy songwriting.
I love him. I do. I want you to listen. Support indie. We don’t write to appease a standard that record labels or publishing houses demand. We write for you; raw and exposed.

What is the meaning of graveyard??
I don’t get it. Who is he talking about. Is is God talking to us?
Debra says
I mean God talking to us.
Debra says
Urgh! I can’t believe I did that again. I meant is he (jonathan) talking to God.
